Bible Verse Generator is a free website that shows Bible verses. You do not need an account to use it, and it does not ask for your name, your email address or any payment.

The short version

• No accounts, no sign-up forms, no comments.
• No advertising and no advertising cookies.
• Nothing you do here is uploaded to us. Verse images are made on your own device.
• Visits are counted with Google Analytics, which uses cookies.
• We do not sell or rent information about visitors.

Visit statistics (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit, which pages they open and how the generator is used, so we know what to improve. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and collects details such as the pages you view, the buttons you press (generate, copy, share), your device and browser type, your approximate location (country and city, worked out from your IP address) and the site that sent you here. Google Analytics does not store your IP address.

This information is processed by Google on our behalf. We see totals and trends, not names. To learn how Google handles it, read How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

You can turn this off. Block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site works the same either way.

What is saved on your device

To save you a tap next time, your browser remembers two choices on your own device: how many verses you like to generate at once, and the image style you last picked for sharing. These are kept in your browser's local storage, are never sent to us, and go away when you clear your browser's site data.

Sharing a verse

When you share a verse as an image, the image is drawn in your browser and then downloaded or handed to the app you choose in your device's share menu. It is not uploaded to this website and we keep no copy. Copying a verse or a link only places text on your clipboard.

An earlier version of this site, before October 2026, saved the share images visitors made on our server. Those images held only a verse and a background, nothing about the person who made them, and they have all been deleted.

Server and security logs

Like almost every website, our web server records each request it receives: the IP address, the time, the page asked for and the browser type. We use these records only to keep the site running and to stop abuse, and they are deleted after about 10 days. The site is delivered through Cloudflare, a network that protects websites from attacks. Cloudflare handles the same request details and may set a cookie that is strictly necessary for security.

Advertising

This site shows no ads. Earlier versions used Google AdSense. It was removed in September 2026, and advertising cookies are no longer set here.

Children

This site is for a general audience. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what information is held about you and to have it corrected or deleted. We do not hold information that identifies you, but if you have a question or a request, email us and we will help.

Changes to this policy

If the way this site handles information changes, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change.
